Kozara National Park, Prijedor

The Kozara National Park offers something special in every season:  the thick forests come alive and turn green in spring; the fresh air and shade of tall coniferous trees provide refreshment in the summer heat; autumn colours make the hillside magically misty, while in winter the white sports are an enjoyable experience. This is a place where one can take a deep breath and do many different sport activities while enjoying the beautiful landscapes.

Mountaineering, biking, hiking and walking through the beautiful forests, excellent service and offer of accommodation facilities will make your stay in Kozara National park complete.
For professional athletes as well as amateurs there is Benkovac Sports and Recreation Centre comprising a football, handball, basketball and volleyball field. For those who seek adventure and adrenaline there is a climbing rock at Zeciji kamen site. This climbing site is the right place for rock climbing lovers. While sitting on the benches located close to the climbing rock, one can rest and enjoy beautiful landscapes of the Kozara National Park. For adrenaline lovers this is the right place to test their body and to invigorate the soul in beautiful natural surroundings. For amateurs and athletes at Gavrin Kalem a trim trail with 15 elements has been created.

Skiing lovers have at their disposal three ski runs along the slopes of the mountain. Apart from skiing, winter sports lovers can enjoy sledging, snowboarding and other winter activities.
Marked hiking trails provide an excellent opportunity to explore the Park area and to enjoy its picturesque landscapes and intact nature. Dynamic relief, peaks, ridges and slopes, dense coniferous and deciduous forests, springs and brooks create a memorable hiking experience. Zeciji kamen waterfall, Gumline ravine, Gola planina and Kozaracki kamen, with a beautiful view of the surroundings, are more than impressive. There are several well marked and beautiful hiking trails in the Kozara National Park.
Adventure Park "Kozara" is a training ground where visitors older than 12 can recreate and have fun. Crossing the suspension bridges, ladders and cables, riding on the cable with the help of a so-called zip line, are just some of the challenges that Adventure Park "Kozara" offers to those who want excitement, fun and adrenaline in nature.
